Emilio is a Calgary born musician and composer. His love for music brought him to Vancouver in 2015 where he is currently working towards a bachelor of music at Capliano University.

In Calgary Emilio studied double bass with Rubim DeToledo, Head of faculty of Grant Macewen Jazz Department, and Classical bass with Sheila Garrett, Assistant principle bass chair of the Calgary Philharmonic. Since then he has gone to study with Cody Hutchinson, John Day, and now studies with Vancouver's own Darren Radtke.

Emilio's style is a dynamic range from jazz and bebop to contemporary, classical, and pop. He has been featured on many recordings that cross all these genres. His latest work is featured in recordings with the Vancouver artist KAIS in their recently released full length album.
